This Buddhist mountain kingdom is situated east of Nepal and west of
Bhutan.
It is a miniscule in comparison; Sikkim has a variety that can scarily

alpine and beyond. The forest are lush and deep, abounding with exotic
ferns and butterflies.
The musk deer and the adorable red panda are two of the better known

sacred land blessed by its protective deity, Mt. Khangchendonga, the
third highest mountain in the world.

From Neal by Air/Land : Biratnager & Bhadrapur are the nearest
Airport to the border town Karkarvata, which is 146 Kms. from Gangtok.
By Air : Nearest airport is Bagdora in North Bengal which is 124 kms.
and approximately 5 hrs. drive to Gangtok
Bagdora has regular flights services from Calcutta , and Delhi.
Entry Formalities:
All foreign nationals intending to visit Sikkim must hold valid Indian
visa with Inner Line Permit to travel to Sikkim. Inner line permit may
be obtained in advance or on arrival at Gantok. To travel in Sikkim,
group must consist of 4 people.
